Job Description:Join Bradley Book Company and become a professional textbook buyer for an industry leader. With over 25 years of experience, Bradley Book Company is positioned to help you grow a new territory. The position involves traveling locally to purchase unwanted or surplus textbooks from college faculty. In reality you are selling yourself, your personality, and your ability to quickly build a relationship with each call. We have been successful in this industry for over 25 years and will give you the training you need to make you successful, just as our other buyers have done.

Any college, university, or community college is a potential target. Where you travel is up to you. You will determine future routes based on success. This will all be part of your training and on-going support.

Bradley Book Company provides Guaranteed Commissions paid on all purchases using the current price list. Realistic first year earnings on a 45 week year will be $50,000. Complete training and on-going support, both in person and via the phone/internet.
 
Requirements:The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to succeed by making calls on a daily basis. The more books you buy, the more money you make. Good communication skills are key to your success. Your ability to build a relationship with the first call will greatly increase your chances of earning the business. Experience is a plus but not a requirement. We will train the right candidate on what has been successful in the past and give you the tools to grow your business. Every college professor has unwanted or unsolicited textbooks. They may or may not want to sell these textbooks. That's up to you to find out!

A 4-year degree is desirable, but some college work will be very beneficial. Sales experience will be an added asset. Persistence, creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to succeed will make you successful in this role. In addition, some computer expertise with Microsoft Excel and email is necessary; as well as a reliable vehicle and the ability to lift 60 lbs. If you desire to invest in growing your own business in a profession that is proven to have long-term positive implications, we're ready to speak to you.

No purchase of inventory or start up fees. Some start up cash is needed-not a dime goes to us. Start up cash is for purchases that will result in a profit to you based on market price of books.
